The new year is fast upon us. And what better way to kick off 2020 than acquiring more knowledge. Today’s article shares three investment books I’m reading in the near future. Of course, this post isn’t all about me either, and instead I want to share why you can benefit from picking up each of these titles.
Read on if you’re ready to improving your financial understanding in the upcoming year.
1. For Maximizing Money: 100 Baggers
This is a book with a very gimmicky title. Buying stocks that yield a 100x return on investment sounds insane and like something you’d hear at a shady get rich quick seminar. But that’s not the case. 100 Baggers is a book which lays out fundamental principles for investing in stocks which massively increase their value over time.
Best of all, this isn’t some strategy involving penny stocks or obscure junior miners. Instead, you’re learning how to successfully identify, buy, and hold investments that are hidden in plain sight. These are companies you’ve probably heard of, or whose products you already use.
I’ve already read a few chapters from this book and can honestly say that it’s very informative and interesting. It’s also given me some ideas for the future, and I think you’ll enjoy reading it too.
2. Learn From The Masters: Medici Money
I’ve been fascinated with the Medici family for years. But, weirdly enough, I never bothered to read a book about them until now. Medici Money is less of a traditional investment book, and more of an insight into the lives and actions of one of history’s richest and most influential families.
If you want to master your money, always learn from the best. And the Medici family are unparalleled. Because of this, Medici Money is one of my top three investment books for the year.
3. Diversifying Income: The Book on Rental Property Investing
They aren’t making any more land. And with populations growing, this is an excellent long-term investment. People need homes, and real estate is one of the classic wealth builders all across the globe. The Book On Rental Property Investing shows you how to successfully buy and profit off residential properties for the long run.
What’s nice about this book is that it focuses on buying and holding properties, unlike many titles which base themselves around complex house flipping strategies.
If you’re looking to make money long-term in real estate this is well worth a read.
Final Thoughts On The Three Investment Books I’m Reading In 2020
There are tons of terrific books which tackle the concepts of money and wealth. In fact, there are so many choices that the options can get a bit overwhelming. Rather than getting bogged down and suffering analysis paralysis, take a look at the titles on this list and use them as your starting point. Books like 100 Baggers and The Book On Rental Property Investing teach you how to make money in the stock and real estate markets, while titles such as Medici Money lay out the principles for building a business and creating generational wealth.
No matter which books you pick, you’re going to be in for an illuminating expirience.
